Abstract

The document is the second report of the large windtunnels working group (LaWs) of the fluid dynamics panel of AGARD. It is concerned with the need for a large transonic windtunnel in Europe. Discussions in the Group led to a number of conclusions and further recommendations which are summarized in the report.
