Yaw Sonde and Radar Data Reduction to Obtain Aerodynamic Coefficients.

Abstract

Two computer models developed by the Armament System Department of the General Electric Corporation, one for reducing radar data (HEEVE) and the other for determining aerodynamic coefficients from Yaw Sonde data (ANGLES), are described. The mathematical techniques are discussed and the fundamental equations used in these programs are shown. An input-output guide is provided for both models. The results of fitting a theoretical test case generated from a six-degree-of-freedom model is discussed. (Modified author abstract)
