Test of Low Discharge Type Storage Batteries.

Abstract

This report compares the performance of two types of low discharge batteries as regards shelf life, intermittent load, continuous duty at room temperature and continuous duty at elevated temperatures. The batteries compared employed different alloys in plate construction. The C and D battery used a calcium lead alloy, while the Willard cell made use of a high purity antimony lead.
