Operational Tests of 30 Foot Utility Boats MK-I (Steel) and MK-II (Wood),

Abstract

Two 30 foot utility boats, one of steel and one of wood, were tested for behavior in rough water, maneuvering ability, and floodable length. With the exception of minor deficiencies which may be readily corrected, both boats are considered satisfactory in performance and capable of carrying out their operational mission.
