Accelerated Wear Test to Lifejackets.
Abstract
The report compares the loss in buoyancy of lifejackets containing specially treated asbestos filled pads with those containing Fiberglas filled pads following accelerated wear in the Lucas Machine. In the discussion, a comparison is drawn with results obtained on Kapok filled pads.
