Control of Evaporator Scale.

Abstract

The report includes the analyses of several samples of scale from sea water evaporators of different types, a description of the experimental sea water evaporator installed and now in operation at Armour Research Foundation, a report on the chemical changes found in sea water which had been stored in barrels for eighteen months, and the experimental data from completely recycled evaporation runs in the experimental unit.
