Is Tri-Tac the Answer.

Abstract

The basic question is how to best develop joint service requirements for tactical communications through engineering development so as to insure maximum interoperability, compatibility, and overall effectiveness. The machinery established at Department of Defense level to this is the TRI-TAC Program. The TRI-TAC Program is reviewed listing its structure and objectives, followed by a brief summary of the effectiveness of the program. (Modified author abstract)
