Barrier Search.

Abstract

Simulation generated probabilities for an Anti-Submarine Barrier composed of submarines are examined from a statistical viewpoint. A probabilistic model which is not generally considered to be applicable to this case is demonstrated to be statistically supported. The applicability of the model is justified probabilistically. A statistical estimating relationship is then developed to estimate the sole input parameter from submarine FIGURE-OF-MERIT. (Author)
