Problem of Cylindrical Wave Propagation in Concrete,

Abstract

The author examines the propagation of deformation waves in the case of axial symmetry, produced by the explosion of a cylindrical explosive charge. The charge is located in a cavity. It is assumed that, due to the symmetry, the particles move in planes which are perpendicular to the symmetry axis in the radial directions.
