Coherent Reception of Radionavigational Signals,

Abstract

The book deals with statistical analysis of coherent reception of radio signals against a background of fluctuation noise and sinusoidal noise. The exposition is devoted chiefly to discrete methods of information processing with consideration of shifts in the signal frequency and reference oscillator frequency. The procedures of analysis are illustrated by hypothetical examples of engineering calculation of the characteristics of signal detectors and the instruments for measuring their parameters. Although the analysis is based on radionavigation signals, most of the methods and results are applicable to coherent signals of any system. Certain results obtained by the author are included.
