Users Guide for Direct Readout Data Converter (DRDC),
Abstract
The DRDC User's Guide describes the use of the DRDC and DRDC support software package to digitize, process, and display NOAA-2/NOAA-3 type direct readout scanning radiometer (DRSR) data. The characteristics of the DRSR data are described. The rectification, enhancement, expansion and calibration functions of the DRDC support software package are described. Instructions are included for operating the DRDC in digitize and display modes and for setting up the CDC-3100 program runs. Complete documentation of the programs is provided in the form of descriptions and flowcharts. (Author)
