Report to the Atomic Energy Commission on the NRL Studies Concerning the Two-Component Torus Concept.

Abstract

The Two-Component Torus Concept is considered as a Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion Research Device. Theoretical and computational studies have been performed to assess the microscopic and macroscopic plasma dynamics of such a device. Fokker-Planck studies suggest parameter ranges in which such a device might perform best. (Author)
