Extendible Space Structures.

Abstract

A list is given of all extendible and inflatable structures in space, along with the launching nation. Configurations of the coilable beryllium copper booms are illustrated, as well as associated engineering problems and solutions. Some unique extendible structures such as the Triad boom and coilable extendible structures are described. (Author)
