Optimal Designs for Two Non-Interactive Treatments.

Abstract

Good intuition and a good sense of the art of experimentation have led to many contributions to the design of experiments. But, dependent on the appropriate model and the desired optimality criterion, the optimal design may differ from that intuitively expected and more formal analysis is required. This paper develops optimal designs for various models and optimality criteria in a simple experimental situation.
