The Digital Data Library System: Library Storage and Retrieval of Digital Geophysical Data.

Abstract

The library storage and retrieval system described in this report will permit any computer user easy and quick access to the geophysical data that has been stored in digital form by the Department of Geology and Geophysics Digital Data Library. Retrieval by geographical area, by ship and cruise, or by time is possible. Numbered lists, profile plots, annotated and profiled data along ship's tracks on Mercator charts can be easily produced using this system. (Modified author abstract)
