Preliminary Design of Rocket-Borne Cryogenic Dewar and Signal Electronics

Abstract

The preliminary design of a cryogenic, rocket-borne dewar and associated signal electronics are described. The design and testing of two cryogenically cooled test dewars are also described. This instrumentation is to be used in connection with rocket probe measurements of the infrared emissions of the airglow and aurorae.
