Broadband Antenna Measurement Techniques.

Abstract

The report presents the results of a program to study and investigate advanced measurement techniques for evaluating the performance of broadband antenna systems for use in high resolution radar systems. New techniques to measure, record, and analyze antenna gain and pattern performance were studied, and the feasibility of developing the necessary instrumentation to perform these measurements was investigated. Systems based on the use of broadband noise signal sources and systems using sweep frequency techniques were studied. (Mofified author abstract)
