PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE OF TRIVALENT CHROMIUM IN SC2O3 AND Y2O3.

Abstract

The paramagnetic resonance spectrum of Cr3(+) in the isomorphous cubic hosts Sc2O3 and Y2O3 was investigated at Ka-band and M-band frequencies. In both cases, the Cr3(+) ion replaces the host cation at a site of trigonal symmetry.
