AQUITAINE, A RADAR FOR BALLISTIC TRAJECTORY AND SPACE MISSILE PURSUIT.
Abstract
The Aquitaine radar for ballistic trajectory is presented as a technological attainment of a new order. It is a monopulse radar which functions in the C (5 cm) band. It accomplished automatic pursuit in site, bearing and distance, on a radar echo, or on a responser up to a distance of approximately 2300 km.
