MICROWAVE DEVICE TECHNIQUES FOR AEROSPACE SURVEILLANCE.

Abstract

Tasks reported on are: (1) Thin Film Transducers; (2) Acoustic Wave Devices; (3) Carrier Wave Propagation; (4) Whistler Mode Propagation in Solids; (5) Theory of Carrier Wave Propagation; (6) Periodic Ferrite Delay Lines; (7) Adiabatic Magnetoelastic Conversion in the Time Domain; and (8) Theory of the Gunn Effect. The emphasis of the work is on the use of solid state phenomena for performing conventional microwave device functions applicable to phased array radar systems.
