Abstract

The manual contains operation and service instructions for signal distribution and monitor console assemble for use in launch vehicle(Aerospace) systems checkout. The consoles receive all signals from the the vehicle umbilical and test plugs and distribute them to associated control, monitoring, and recording equipment. Input signals from the vehicle are applied to the umbilical and test plug panel in the consoles and are distributed by means of patchcords through the patch system panel. Each of the signal distribution and monitor consoles is a three-bay, dolly-mounted, electrical equipment cabinet containing rack-mounted volt-meter, oscilloscope, preamplifier, event recorder, electrical counter, and gas valve converter chassis assemblies, an umbilical and test plug monitor panel, a patch system panel, power distribution channels, and interconnecting cabling.
