ELECTRICAL AND GUIDANCE CONSOLE. PART NO. 1513398-501, 1513398-703, 1518772-501. MODEL NO. 205-143, 205-143, 205-600. OPERATION AND SERVICE MANUAL.

Abstract

The manual contains operation and service instructions for Electrical and Guidance Consoles at the Launch Operations Building (LOB), Vandenberg Air Force Base. The console contains all necessary monitoring and control equipment for the vehicle's electrical system (Subsystem C) and for the guidance and flight control system (Subsystem D). This monitoring function is accomplished during launch countdown. Specifically, equipment in the electrical section of this console provides monitoring and control of vehicle, LOB, and PAD power. The guidance section provides metering, switching, and indicating equipment to monitor and control the horizon sensor, inertial reference package, flight control electronics package, pneumatic control system, hydraulic control system, and the Subsystem D timer. Recording equipment, consisting of two 8-channel oscillographs, is included in this console for continuous monitoring and recording of voltages and other data associated with Subsystem D.
