Abstract

The system flushes the hydraulic fluid with ethyl alcohol, then purges the hydraulic power package of alcohol with dry nitrogen. The cart provides control and monitoring devices for controlling and monitoring the temperature, pressure, and flow rate of all fluids during all phases of the test. Test cart design incorporates explosion-proofing, automatic electrical shutdown from thermal overload, and emergency fluid-dump features to protect the vehicle and personnel operating the equipment.
