FUNCTIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL TEST OF THE MOA-5 MODULATION AMPLIFIER (LMSD 1322403, S/N 103, 104 AND 107),

Abstract

This report describes the tests conducted to qualify the MOA-5 Modulation Amplifier (LMSD 1322403). Two specimens were tested in accordance with Test Assignment 7524. The first specimen was tested to the entire environmental requirements of the Test Assignment and the second specimen was submitted to the temperature-humidity environment only. The Test Assignment specified environments of temperature-humidity, altitude, ascent shock, vibration and acceleration. Both specimens failed the temperature environments. A third specimen was tested in accordance with Test Assignment 7609. The Test Assignment specified Functional Testing and Temperature-humidity environment testing only. This specimen successfully withstood the specified tests. (Author)
