FLIGHT QUALIFICATION OF LMSD 1460101-1 MULTIPLE OUTPUT DC/DC CONVERTER,

Abstract

This report describes the tests conducted to qualify the Multiple Output DC/DC Converter, for flight use. The specimen was subjected to a pre-environmental functional test at which time the high voltage outputs (+200 VDC and +300 VDC) did not meet the required specifications. The specimen failed to maintain the specified outputs with a 22.0 VDC input voltage. The two outputs did operate within the specifications upon increasing the input voltage to 22.45 VDC. It was then subjected to environments of temperature-humidity, altitude, shock, acceleration and vibration. There was no degradation of specimen performance due to the environmental conditions imposed. (Author)
