TELEMETRY INPUT SIMULATOR. PART NO. 1598545-501. OPERATION AND SERVICE MANUAL.

Abstract

This manual contains operation and service instructions for the Telemetry Input Simulator Part No. 1598545-501. The simulator in conjunction with a rolling ground station and decommutator console, may be used to check the performance of the telemetry subsystem in the Agena vehicle, either prior to or after installation in the vehicle, during ground test and checkout operations. Specifically, the console generates amplitude and time-varying electrical signals which are used to excite the voltage controlled oscillators in the vehicle telemetry system.
