E-5 DIAGNOSTIC TRANSPORT DOLLY NUMBER 2 SHOCK, VIBRATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL TESTS,

Abstract

Tests were performed to accomplish the following objectives: (1) To evaluate the damping and shock absorbing characteristics of the E-5 transport dolly shock mounts, and suspension system. (2) To subject the dolly to temperature variations of 0 F to 130 F and determine the operating efficiency of the air conditioning unit and its controls. (3) To evaluate the capability of the pressurization system to automatically regulate pressure under air transport conditions of 0 to 30,000 feet.
