QUALIFICATION TEST, RELAY CONTROL JUNCTION BOX ASSEMBLY,

Abstract

Four Junction Box Assemblies were tested. All specimens were electrically identical, but varied in structural material and configuration of the shell. All specimens met the requirements of the initial performance test but failed to complete the sinusoidal vibration test without failures. These failures consisted of contact chatter causing circuit discontinuities of 10 microseconds or greater. No contact transfer failures occurred. (Author)
