Abstract
The instructions in this manual pertain to Lockheed- fabricated equipment and the electronic consoles as integrated units. Reference of individual panels and console assemblies will apply to all Pad Electrical Trailers (PETS) unless otherwise indicated. Vendor-manufactured components within each console are described only to the extent necessary to explain their use within the console. Each PET supplies and controls ac and dc power to its associated launch pad and permits monitoring of signals from multiple channels of pad and Agena vehicle communication. Facilities are provided for calibrating and monitoring inputs from temperature and pressure transducers. In addition, fuel and acid monitoring functions are provided for use during filling operations. Each PET consists of a four-wheel trailer equipped with provisions for accommodating eight or nine bays of electronic equipment, and air conditioning unit, lighting, and associated power facilities.
