SOLAR A.P.U. CONTROL SENSORS QUALIFICATION TEST,

Abstract

This report describes the tests conducted to prove the design integrity of the LMSD 1062836 and 1062835 solar APU sensors and to qualify them as flight items. Each specimen was subjected to environmental tests of Humidity, Sinusoidal Vibration, Gaussian Random Vibration, Shock, Acceleration, High and Low Temperature, Temperature-Altitude and Temperature Cycling. Following each environmental condition the specimens were bench checked for electrical output and found to be within the test specification. (Author)
