EVALUATION TEST OF SOLAR ARRAY FLEX HARNESS TYPE I,

Abstract

This test was conducted to evaluate one (1) Solar Array Flex Harness, LMSD Part No. 1062954-3 and two (2) Solar Array Flex Harnesses, LMSD Part No. 1062954-1. All specimens were given an initial functional test consisting of a current handling test and insulation resistance test. Following the initial functional test, all specimens were exposed to environments of high temperature, low temperature, humidity, temperature shock and altitude. The results of these tests are presented in tables and show that all specimens failed to remain in tolerance throughout the test. (Author)
