PERSONNEL SYSTEM DESIGN FOR VEHICLE SYSTEM TEST ORGANIZATION.
Abstract
The Vehicle System Test Division was divided into four subdivisions: Engineering Operations, Test Operations, Test Control, and Santa Cruz Test. Engineering Operations and Test Operations subdivisions are organizations designed for testing vehicle systems. Test Control subdivision is a project-oriented across-the-board control function. Organization charts show the subdivisions, and departments. The narration which follows the charts describes the functions of each subdivision, department, and section. The interfaces between subdivisions, departments, and sections may be inferred from the narrative. Position descriptions for personnel assigned to each section follow organization charts for each section. Area diagrams for the technical operating groups show the work station of technical personnel; personnel position numbers are shown in the ellipses.
