QUALIFICATION TEST PROCEDURE FOR POWER TRANSFER UNIT. LMSC 1359986-507.

Abstract

The purpose of this test was to determine the effects of vibration, shock, acceleration, transportation and storage, temperature-altitude and temperature-humidity on the performance capability of the Power Transfer Unit. A performance test was conducted subsequent to each environment. The specimen was operated during every environment except temperature-humidity. During the initial functional test the specimen failed. After rework by manufacturing the specimen met all requirements of the test procedure.
