LOAD CYCLING AND STATIC TEST AL-Z-5 HOOK AND 1001077 LATCH,

Abstract

The test was originated to determine whether the hook and latch were capable of withstanding a number of loading cycles. The number chosen was known to exceed the total of cycles to which the combination would be subjected throughout their service life. Secondly, it was desired to determine the ultimate static load capable of being maintained by the hook and latch.
