HIGH TEMPERATURE POLYMERS FROM 1,3-DIPOLAR ADDITION REACTIONS.
Abstract
The model compounds 4,4'-perfluoropropyl-2,2',5,5'-tetraphenylditriazole, 2,2'-spiro-bis(3,5-diphenyl-2,3-dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazole) and 3-phenyl-4-bromosydnone have been prepared. The synthesis of the disydonones 4,4'-bis(3-phenylsydononyl)sulsydnonyl)ketone has been carried out. 4-Cyano-2-phenyl-5-phenyltetrazole has been prepared to provide a nitrile tetrazole monomer capable of undergoing homopolymerization.
