EVALUATION OF PNEUMATIC CHECK VALVES

Abstract

Pneumatic check valves were evaluated for the purpose of determining parts acceptable for weapon system usage. These valves were subjected to pneumatic and environmental conditions including proof pressure, flow calibration, cracking pressure, seating pressure, vibration, acceleration, low temperature, corrosion and life cycle. The trend of testing indicated that none of the valves fulfilled all the requirements.
