A REVIEW OF CURRENT AND FUTURE AMPHIBIOUS SURFACE VEHICLES. VOLUME I. VEHICLE REVIEW.

The vehicles selected for discussion are those procured for and used by the Marine Corps. They include (1) the family of armored, assault, personnel carriers, amphibian, (2) the high-speed hydrofoil and planing-hull amphibian vehicles, and (3) the displacement hull rubber-tired amphibian vehicles. Engineering reports published during the period 1956 through 1965 that were concerned with the above vehicles were reviewed.
