Abstract

The Material-Handling Equipment (MHE) Study is concerned with the following general problems: Appraisal and evaluation of the Army MHE maintenance and repair policies; Evaluation of Army table of MHE economic lives and recommendations for revisions thereto if necessary; Consideration of failure rates and identification of parts and assemblies predominantly involved; and The problem of ownership vs a leasing arrangement.
