STATIC SEAL GLAND DESIGN EVALUATION,

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate various metallic and plastic 'O' rings for use as static seals. The test requirements included determination of leakage past the seals when used in a standard metallic 'O' ring groove design for both water and IRFNA, under various pressure and temperature environments.
