BURNOUT CHARACTERISTICS OF WIREWOUND RESISTORS,
Abstract
The results of experimental tests which were performed on wirewound resistors to determine their burnout characteristics are presented. IRC 0.5 watt 0.47 ohm 5% resistors and 0.25 watt 1 ohm 1% resistor are evaluated for their feasibility as overload protection devices. (Author)
