RECEPTACLE (WINCHESTER, SK-2851) AIR LEAKAGE TEST,
Abstract
This type of receptacle contains a large number of 'O' rings for sealing the parts against leakage. It was desired to determine whether this type of construction would hold air pressure and could be used in vehicles which were pressurized. In order to make this test, it was necessary to construct a test fixture which would allow one side to be pressurized and the location and amount of leak determined. (Author)
