ALTITUDE SWITCHING(MC-273) G-LOAD TESTS,

Abstract

The test objective was a determination of the effect of uniform linear accelerations on the calibration of this altitude switch. This altitude switch is open at ambient pressures corresponding to altitudes greater than its calibrated setting, and it is closed at those altitudes which are less than its calibrated setting. This test was to check the stability of the switch setting under the imposition of the acceleration loads.
