HIGH POWER MODULATOR SWITCH STUDY (TRANSISTOR).
Abstract
Feasibility study to demonstrate use of transistors as the switching element in high power modulator service. Several types of circuit configurations using commercially available transistors were evaluated. Design requirements, switch circuitry, pulse parameters, analysis of device parameters and economic factors with recommendations for future work are contained in the text. Complete data acquired during the program is included. (Author)
