DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE SEAL-LUBRICANT DEPOSIT EVALUATION TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

Testing techniques for evaluating experimental gas turbine lubricants in face-riding main shaft jet engine seals at temperatures representative of high mach aircraft have been under development. Lubricant evaluations at 350 F bulk temperature, using the RTD seal head, are continuing. During this reporting period, lubricant 0-65-21 was evaluated. (Author)
