CUMBERLAND PLATEAU SEISMOLOGICAL OBSERVATORY.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to review the analysis, engineering and research tasks which have been performed during the first contract year. Routine operations and analysis have continued at Cumberland Plateau Seismoligical Observatory, and research tasks have been performed on travel-time studies and the cataloging of events by station personnel. Research at the Dallas facility has included construction and installation of a digital multichannel filter processor (DMCF) plus associated research tasks, an ambient noise study and signal-to-noise ratio studies. This report is divided into two functionalized Sections: (1) station operations and research, and (2) research tasks conducted at the Dallas facility.
