EVALUATION REPORT ON THE AIRMAN DEVELOPMENT COURSE,

Abstract

The report pressents an evaluation of the Reese Air Force Base, Texas Airman Development Course which was designed to be a continuation of the airman basic military training conducted at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The Airman Development Course was prepared by training personnel at Reese Air Force Base. The purpose of the course was to increase the military efficiency of Airmen in grades E1 and E2. The instructional units included Management of Personal Finance, Airman's Responsibility as a Citizen, Heritage, Communism, and others. The evaluation considered all phases of the course and included instruction, student critiques, training materials, airman problem areas, reading ability versus course grades, motivation, and other factors. The appendices contain the course syllabus, a student forced-choice critique booklet, and instructor rating forms. The report should be of value to training personnel who may be interested in developing at the base level a similar type of course. (Author)
