OPHTHALMOLOGICAL USES OF HYDERGIN.

Abstract

Preoperative bloodletting is not to be recommended as a preparatory measure for the prevention of hemorrhaging during surgery. Preoperative lowering of blood pressure can be effected with hydergin in many cases. Hydergin should be tested during the preoperative phase to establish whether it will be effective. (Author)
