DETERMINING THE CONSTANTS FOR A MULTI-AXIS SATELLITE TRACKING DEVICE.

Abstract

It is shown how, by knowing three or more ephemeral values a four-axes tube mounting is oriented in such a manner that the tracking movement takes place only in one axis. In addition, the various possibilities of the data on ephemeral points, regarding their influence on the calculation of the constants are investigated. Graphic and numerical methods were used in the solution of the problem.
