A NOTE ON THE CONSTITUTIVE RELATIONS FOR A PORO-ELASTIC SOLID.

Abstract

The constitutive relations developed by Biot for a poro-elastic solid are valid only for small motions of the solid and fluid. The present work extends these constitutive relations to the case of large fluid and solid motion while retaining linear constitutive relations. (Author)
