PHASE II WS133A TECHNICAL FACILITIES ROCK BOLT TESTING IN CONCRETE.

Abstract

Rock bolts were tested in concrete by the Air Force Special Weapons Center at the request of the Ballistics Systems Division. The purpose of this test program was to conduct extensive tension and shear tests on rock bolts installed and embedded in concrete for evaluation of rock bolts as equipment anchoring devices. These tests were performed under various loads and depths in concrete. Test results, notations of observations made during testing, and other pertinent test data are presented. (Author)
